The African Leadership Academy is a two-year residential school in South Africa for students aged 16-19, focusing on developing future African leaders through a unique curriculum combining academic core subjects with entrepreneurial leadership and African studies. ALA's mission is to transform Africa by identifying, developing, and connecting young leaders who will work together to address the continent's greatest challenges. Campus: Located in Roodepoort, South Africa Curriculum: Includes African Studies, Writing & Rhetoric, Entrepreneurial Leadership, and Cambridge A-Level subjects Student Enterprises: Students participate in various clubs and organizations, including student-run businesses and community service projects Alumni Network: Over 1,771 students from 46 countries, with many going on to attend top universities worldwide and start successful ventures Partnerships: Collaborates with organizations like the Mastercard Foundation to support entrepreneurship and leadership development
